You should not have to stay up to edit your own show — or wait three days for a reply from a West Coast agency. I'm Alex, the editor behind BadMic Studio. Since 2018 I have cut 500+ episodes for 50+ creators, working across overlapping hours with hosts from New York to Los Angeles.
Send raw files and a few notes in your morning, and the finished cut is back inside the same working cycle. Everything runs async: no standing calls, no project managers, no timezone tax.
Hours that overlap with yours
I'm based in Belgrade (CET/CEST), which sits inside the working day for every US timezone once your morning starts.
| Your timezone | Typical overlap | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern (ET) | 09:00–14:00 ET / 15:00–20:00 CET | Notes and questions answered before your evening |
| Central (CT) | 10:00–15:00 CT / 16:00–21:00 CET | Same-day replies on active episodes |
| Pacific (PT) | 07:00–12:00 PT / 16:00–21:00 CET | Your overnight files are cut before you sit down to work |
How the handoff works
- You send footage. A Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link — or a Riverside/SquadCast invite so I pull the raw tracks myself — plus three lines of direction.
- I cut, mix and master. Story-first edit, cleanup of every mic, EQ and compression, loudness targeted to –14 LUFS for YouTube and –16 for Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
- You review once. Timestamped notes by email or Frame.io; one focused revision round is included in every package.
- You publish. Platform-ready masters, 16:9 video with chapters, and 9:16 shorts with dynamic captions if you want them.
What US creators hire me for
- Remote guest rescue. Zoom, Riverside and phone recordings cleaned up to sit beside a studio host mic.
- Multicam video podcasts. Every angle synced, punched in on the beat, cut for watch time rather than for show length.
- Shorts that actually ship. 4–5 high-hook vertical clips per episode with word-by-word captions.
- Weekly reliability. A fixed delivery day so your release schedule never depends on your own spare evenings.
What it costs
Pricing is published on the homepage so nobody has to ask for a quote:
- Audio Master — €95 (about $105) per episode, or €340 (about $375) per month for 4 episodes.
- Video Podcast Pro — €790 (about $860) per month for 4 fully edited video episodes.
- Complete Show & Repurpose — €1,450 (about $1,590) per month: 4 video episodes plus 16–20 shorts.
USD figures are indicative; invoices are issued in EUR and cards or international bank transfer both work.
“Having him as my editor for the podcast has been the main reason I have managed to record and publish over 100 episodes on my podcast.” — Benny, Via Stoica
FAQ
How do I send large video and audio files?
Send a link — Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or Frame.io all work. If you record on Riverside or SquadCast, add me as an editor and I pull the raw high-resolution files directly. No compression and no re-uploads.
Can you fix poor guest audio from Zoom or Riverside?
Yes. Spectral repair, dialogue isolation and de-reverb bring remote guests much closer to your host mic. It will never match a studio condenser, but in almost every case it goes from distracting to perfectly listenable.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Monthly packages run month to month and single episodes are one-off. If you want a fixed weekly slot, we agree a schedule in writing — you can pause or stop with notice before the next billing date.
