I handle the editing, mixing, and repurposing—so you publish on a schedule with clean audio, tight pacing, and scroll-stopping shorts.
Hi! I’m Alex, editor behind BadMic Studio — and I believe great editing is invisible. With over 30 years of experience in media production, I bring a seasoned eye to every project.
I’ve been a freelance video editor since 2018, working with creators, businesses, and individuals to craft content that connects. My background includes sound engineering, event management, and photography — giving me a unique perspective on storytelling.
My approach is simple: story first, then polish. Every cut serves the narrative, every sound decision serves the listener. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your production, I’m here to help you ship better episodes — week after week.

Pick a starting point. We can tailor based on runtime, cadence, and number of shorts.
Everything you need to know before we start.
I accept all common formats: .mp4, .mov, .wav, .mp3, .aiff, and more. For video, I prefer ProRes or H.264, and for audio, WAV or AIFF at 44.1kHz/24-bit.
For single episodes, usually 3–5 business days. For weekly packages, we'll agree on a consistent schedule that works for your release cadence.
All packages include at least one revision round. Just send clear, timestamped feedback and I'll make the changes. For weekly clients, we can build a quick feedback loop.
Yes! If you need something turned around faster, just ask. Rush pricing varies based on the scope and timeline.
Absolutely! I regularly work with multicam setups for video podcasts. Just send all the angles and I'll sync them up.
Send one episode link + your goal. I’ll reply with an edit plan and a quote.
